Opening basic bank account - the co op terms and conditions say that you can not use this
account as a sole trader? my husband has has business name ie. taylor maintenance but his bank now says i taylor trading as taylor maintenance, how can we carry on if basic bank accounts wont let you use as sole trader regards pattie x

I presume that your husband is bankrupt? He won't be able to have a business account until discharged, can he make do without?

Hi

He will be made banktrupt soon, csan he pay business cheques into a basic account, otherwise we will not be able to survive.
