no they would take £50 (presuming of course that you have already included in your expenses the £10per person emergency fund)

If I understand it correctly if there is more than £20 per month DI the OR will take all of it. If it's less than £20 then there is no IPA.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

yes tracey is spot on

they only dont take it if less than £20 pm as it would be uneconomical to collect

I didn't until recently Jan. I can see it causing problems - when I had my IPA I didn't have it reassessed if my expenditure went up a bit, I used some of my surplus. If I hadn't had that I would have had to contact the OR regularly.

i think with the new rules and the £20 allowance that they (the Or ) will be overrun with us / individuals continuly asking for reviews of our Income and expenditure.

That's one I didn't realise either. I thought that you got to keep £20 & the OR took the rest.

Show's how easy it is to misunderstand the guidelines!!!
