I'm considering bankruptcy as the house i jointly owned with my ex is being undersold by 25,000 and i would inherit the debt as my ex died in december. I own a computer and my current partner owns two computers. Would his computers be safe? |

Hi Rebecca, welcome to the forum, you will I'm sure find answers here! You say you're considering bankruptcy, certainly if you are landed with a large shortfall from the property following its sale, then it may be an option, but there are other experts who should be able to advise further.
As for the computers, your partners will not come into the equation, and it is highly unlikely that the OR would claim yours as the cost of realising it would result in the OR owing fees to it's agents.

If you need help completing SOA's(statement of affairs) or PIQ's(preliminary information questionnaire) if you've been declared bankrupt, or anything else and you're within 30 miles or so of Warrington, then please contact me via my contact details in the expert page for futher details"
