i,m nineteen and have got my self in to £5700 worth of debt, my main debt is with my bank who are charging me very high over draft rates, i also have a loan, with the bank and a credit card which is over the max, plus another card over the limit, and a £1000 county court order, is it worth going bankrupt, i only earn 935 per mouth and have rent to pay,

It would be tragic to declare yourself bankrupt at your age, with such a relatively small amount of debt. I suffest that you seek advice from your bank in the first instance, who will want to help. Could you consider a part-time second job just to cover your debts until they are repaid?

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
