Hi, I'm after a bit of advice. I have been discharged from bankruptcy for about a year now, but I am afraid I picked up a 5 year BRU due to the way I disposed of an inheritance the year prior to going bankrupt. Since discharge I have been working as self-employed, but my life would be a lot easier if I was able to be a director of a limited company again, as some of the businesses I deal with will only deal with limited businesses. I have been informed that it is possible to have elements of the restriction order relaxed/removed and the OR gave the impression that they may not object when I queried it a year ago. Can anybody recommend a solicitor with experience of applying for a change to a BRU? If so I would appreciate an introduction.
