Hi,

I am planning on going bankrupt at the end of March, leaving the country in April. This site has been most helpful so far, I just have one further question: My wife and I have been split up for two years, however at this point, are not divorced, nor are we in the process of getting dovorced. Our finances are such that she will also be petitioning for her BR in the near future.

Will this cause me any problems with my BR as we have some joint debts?

Thanks

Hi SWN

it may cause an issue if their was assets or divorce settlement

if you are going BR about same time will not be an issue with joint and several debts

Richard
