Hi Guys
I have spent time writing to all my old creditors and asking them to correct their details on my credit file, however some of them do not respond to my requests and as such their enteries remain as defaulted on my credit files.
What is the next step I should take to force them to correct my file. |

Have you written directly to the data controller for each company mab?
Also, just a thought, were the debts sold on to a different company?
The link posted by Big Al is a good one.

Thanks for the responses guys, I did write to the data controllers of the companies concerned, but still no changes made to my files.
I will resend the letters today via recorded delivery and then if they don't respond ill make a complaint to the information commissioner |
