I am getting letters from an agency of a creditor. I filed for bankruptcy approx 5 years ago - at the time I owed this money. They are threatening me with CCJs, bailiffs and insolvency! I've lost my paperwork and was not too bothered as I thought it was all over years ago. Do I need to pay? I'm getting really worried. Many thanks
Was this creditor included in your bankruptcy? If so you won't have to pay anything. I believe you should still be able to get a copy of your BR order but it will cost you about £60.
Have you contacted the firm to tell them you were bankrupt?
