Hi iv received my early discharge today yipee which is 3 mths early,what restrictions apply to me also do i have to send my ED papers to all of my creditors which their are alot about 33 of them.or will my credit file be updated by the creditors once they no iv been discharged,iv joined the experian on line credit report so i can keep up with whats happeneing on my credit file,the trouble i will have by trying to inform them all is that most of my debts or all of them have been sold on to different ppl ,my credit file has all the addresse's on their to ppl idid owe but they dont have them any more due to them selling them on so i wudnt know who or where to send my ED papers to any help wud be appreciated and i wud like to thank you all for the help and advice u have all given me i cud'nt have done it without u all many thanx jilly51

Congratulations
the best "next step" it to check the experien report and see if it identifies that you have been discharged.
If not then you can apply to the court for your Br discharge certificate and forward a copy to the 3 credit agencies.
There is no need to send it to the creditors because you don't have any anymore.
Assuming that you don't have an income payment order then there are no restrictions on you. In theory you could win the lottery on saturday and keep it all.

Thanx for that paul,i no of experian and equifax but dont no the third credit agency name , also do u no how much the br discharge certificate is plz as i cant see them giving us poor ex BR any thing for free lol ,wud it b my local court where i was made br in that i apply to ? iv looked on line at my experian report it still states im bankrupt with about 33 defaults against my name,i no they will stay on my report for 6 yrs but it wud b nice to see my name in lights with EX BR instead,so im off to buy a lottery ticket now lol jilly51

it costs £60 for the certificate and is available from the local court.

I've actually written to my creditors directly asking them to amend my files to show a default date of no later than my BR date and that my account is either satisfied or partially satisfied. I have sent them a copy of the printout from the Insolvency Register as proof that I'm discharged.
The third credit reference agency is Call Credit - their information is totally inaccurate and now I've finally got some paper for the printer I'll be writing to tell them that!
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
