Hello all

My House insurance is due up for renewal, I have tried a few of the comparison websites and due to my BR I have been unable to obtain quotes from some companies.

I tried the CoOP online and they were by far cheaper than anyone else but they won't let me pay for my insurance by monthly direct debit and the premium has to be paid in one full amount. This is at the point they do the credit check using experian.

Has anyone else found this with the CoOp or any other provider? I use them for banking and was under the impression they were BR friendly for insurance as well.

Thank you

Carl

I've never used them for home insurance (they wouldn't insure us!) but I've got my car insurance with them. The first year I had to pay in one go, but when I phoned them the following year they changed it to monthly installments.

It might be worth a phone call as they might be able to do something rather than the computer saying no.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!
