Hi all,

I have a question. When is it best to start cleaning up your credit file after discharge. ie write to lenders in your bankrupcy, Immediatley? or is it best to give it a few months before writing to you lenders.

To be honest I'd leave it for a while as your BR will be on your file for six years and so you won't be able to get any credit anyway.

Hi,
there won't be any point in chasing creditors up until after discharge, as tecnically that is when all liabilities are discharged, which will in effect be the settlement date.
