Hi and welcome to the forum.

Yes, you can go bankrupt. Do you own your own house at all?

The world is broken, halos fail to glisten
We try to make a difference but no one wants to listen
Hail the preachers, fake and proud
Their doctrines will be cloud
Then they'll dissipate like snowflakes in an ocean

Hi Michelle.hd

Yes cou can make yourself bankrupt and in fact it may be your best option. The main areas about which you need to thin are whether you own any assets, especiall a property and whether you have any disposable income - money left after your bills have been paid. I suggest that you telephone your local County Court and request a bankruptcy pack. If you then have any further queries, I am sure that an expert will be able to help on this website.

All the best
