My husband left me 1 yr ago, his name is still on the mortgage of the house which he is leaving to me..he is saying that he is going to declare himself bankrupt . How will this affect me and my son who live in the house

On the assumption that the property is jointly owned, the OR will make enquiries as to value, ownership and, in the event of there being equity in the property, it may be sold.

Post with a bit more detail and I will see if can advise

Is there any equity in the property?
