Hi all,

Have you found you have problems when trying to insure your car?

If so, who have you got your insurance through?

Have you been in a position that you cannot afford your car insurance? What did you do? How did you find the money?

Many thanks

E

I was with Churchill when I went BR and I renewed with them without any problems. I have also insured with the Co-op since I've been discharged, again without any problems.

Regarding payments, I have always paid monthly so it hasn't been too much of a problem, although I'm expecting it to rocket this year!

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

Whilst not bankrupt, I am insolvent and have had no problems with insurance at all.

I've just taken out new pet insurance with Argos on monthly payments and it went straight through.

We try to make a difference but no one wants to listen

Their doctrines will be cloud
Then they'll dissipate like snowflakes in an ocean

Thank you for your responses. I was looking at a policy online and I got a pop up window saying that they had decided to withdraw their quote and go away! I called my current insurer and I cannot pay by installments - they do a credit check. Its just so unfair, its not as if you are buying something you can run away with (like a tv) and refuse to pay for. You don't pay, your insurance gets cancelled. grrrrr
Thanks again!!
