I have many different debtors, all of which I have lost track of. I have tried to contact a few debtors myself to make agreements, all of which will not take less than £50 per month. This is by no means manageable, I feel I have no other alternative than to declare bankruptcy

Hi Kirsty and welcome.

How much are your debts and do you have any assets which may be in danger if you go bankrupt?

There are other solutions available so I'd recommend speaking to either one of the experts on here or visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. Either way, the advice is free and impartial.

The world is broken, halos fail to glisten
We try to make a difference but no one wants to listen
Hail the preachers, fake and proud
Their doctrines will be cloud
Then they'll dissipate like snowflakes in an ocean

Hiya Kirsty.7

I agree with Kallis3 in that other options are available. However you still need an idea of your creditors. I suggest that you get a copy of your credit report from Credit Expert - free trial for 30 days online. Once you have worked out your total debt level, you can then decide on your best option for clearing these debts.

All the best
