 Refund from energy supplier just after discharge

I have been recently discharged and have been told im due a refund from one of my energy suppliers,do i have to declare it or am i right in thinking its mine now??the trouble is the cheque is in my name but both me and my husband are on the account and he is still BR...what should i do ,do we need to inform the OR???
any advice please!!!

Hope all is going well for you.
I would hope that you would be able to keep the refund as you are now discharged but as we know it is never that straight forward is it??
I hope an expert can advise.
