all of the above, possibly, depends on the court and what the judge is doing that day, it is becoming more common just to see the clerk, but no guarantees

Hi Tracey.
The BR process can seem hugely daunting but I promise you that it is always an anticlimax.
You will be seen by the court clerk who will check your documents and you may or may not see a judge. This seems to depend on the court, the day &/or the Judge!!
All the Judge would want to do is to ask if you are definately aware of the implications of BR. This is for your own benefit and I don't think you would be allowed to take a friend in with you.
Don't forget that you are not there to be judged. The BR law is there to assist & protect you during a very hard financial time.

Have you applied for BR or are you making preliminary enquireies?
There are plaenty of experts on the forum who will assist as much as they can so keep posting.

hi cant come to a agreement with o/r i think they should base the payments on my anual salary. not what i might get in over time , every now and then. the agreement is for 3 years , the overtime isnt garanted. if im running the dementia unit i get 15 min handover which im payed for , if im runing the nursing wing i dont get payed as nite nurse gives handover. my wks vary my wages vary. every wk it changes. im going to ask trustre to base on salary if he does not agree im going to ask to go before the judge. oh and id like to ad.. £45 housekeeping is a joke, that includes toiloters and cleanig products. it realy will be hard.i wonder who came up with this, id like to see them try and live on it. im so stressed not sleeping gp has put me on antidepresents. i feel like giving up work. the or told me there is no money to by even a birthday present so xmas on hold for 3 years
