My husband has had a Order for Substituted service order put through the door on saturday, it was stamped 11th May 2011. it is for a debt of 948.00, what do you do, go to relatives to get the money and pay it, never been to court with this debt no ccjs, my husband has been throwing the letters away, but now this has come through from lowells, any advice would be really welcomed.

Hi Cassie and welcome.

I have no idea what that order is - can you elaborate any further?

Can any of our experts assist?

We try to make a difference but no one wants to listen

Their doctrines will be cloud
Then they'll dissipate like snowflakes in an ocean

All substituted service means is the method of delivery (ie the court have agreed to postal rather than personal service) what this does not tell us is what type of order it is (I suspect a petition for bankruptcy but the OP needs to clarify this, also does it have a hearing date)
