Dear all,
I posed this question in the middle of an earlier forum question TITLED: BRO HELP. With hindsight this was not a good idea as it muddle the original string. So.....here is my dillema on IPA/IPO - does anyone have any comment - perhaps BIgAl who may have some experience in this area. All comment welcome:
What happens if I start working one month before AD and get my pay check a day after the AD. What would I have to declare on my I&E? Yes I will be working - but still on benefits until I get paid, which is one day after AD?
What advice do you have on filling the I&E form in a circumstance like this as technically I will only have income one day after AD?
Please advise.
Thanks and Regards,
Jimmy

In my circumstances which are similar to yours I am waiting until the discharge day until I make any changes. On my bankruptcy form it tells me to inform the OR if any changes to my situation occur. If your situation changes in any way you are duty bound to inform your OR and my advice would be to inform them….or wait until you are discharged. |

The question does not say tell us within 21 dats of you receyving money in your bank, it says within 21 days of your circumstances changing, I would that that your circumstances have changed when you sign an employment contract |

Hi debinfo,
Thanks for clarifying that, it really pays to read the legal documents. Can you advise where I can find the 21 rule you stipupulate, I just want to be 100% sure my self. I guess it is best to wait out until AD?
Regards,
Jimmy |

I agree with Debtinfo, you need to notify the OR within 21 days of a change in your circumstances. If you read your BR paperwork you will find this information in there.
No one can advise you whether or not you should wait until you are discharged, that is something only you can decide.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.
