can i put my house in my girlfriends name if i think i could be bancrupt in a couple of years time so we can still live there without it being sold thanx tony

No you can't, it will still be at risk.

If you think you will be bankrupt in a couple of years I presume you are struggling now so I suggest you take some debt advice now to avoid any problems.
