Dear Experts,

Here is a question for the benefit of everyone.....

Do bankrupts get notified by the OR that they intend to close the file on their investigations. I was told this is done by means of a Notice To Creditors? Do bankrupts get to see a copy of this notice. Are they told at all?

Regards,

Jimmy.

I think some people get notification and others don't. I didn't receive anything from the OR.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

I would also keep an eye on the Insolvency Register to see when your status changes to discharge.

When it does then print this off so that you have something to send to creditors if you have problems in the future.

The world is broken, halos fail to glisten
We try to make a difference but no one wants to listen
Hail the preachers, fake and proud
Their doctrines will be cloud
Then they'll dissipate like snowflakes in an ocean

I think you are confusing 2 things here, there if the end of the bankruptcy (discharge) and then there is the end of the trustees enquiries which is a different notification. Either can happen first, at the same time or last
