after being made bankrupt at least 8 years ago do i still need to declare to banks i was once made bankrupt when trying to get a bank account. Any help would be great ty.
Hi and welcome to the forum. You only need to declare your BR if specifically asked. You must be honest if asked as it's an offence to say you've never been BR if you have.
Totally agree. If asked then you do have to mention it - otherwise I would not volunteer the information as Tracey says.
