Hi I am a little worried as I was discharged 3 years ago and now all of a sudden I am getting letters from debt collection agency asking for payment of debts which were included in my bankruptcy, what should I do?
You should not be getting these now. I would write to them telling them that you were bankrupt, give the date and the court details, You should, if you have it, send a copy of your discharge certificate to them. If you don't have it then you can request it from the court but it will cost you £70.
Rest assured that they can do nothing to you.
