I co own a property in sicily that has local debt on it to approximately half its value. My house in Britain has just been repossessed leaving a discepancy of some 70 000 that i believe I am jointly liable for with my ex partner. What would happen re the sicily property should i declare bankruptcy?

It will be treted like any other investment property here, ie the trustee will want your share of the equity out of it
