Hi again,

I'm planning on moving to a new flat so I can live with the bf.

What do you guys do about the deposit? You don't get the deposit back for the current place until after you have moved out, yet you need it as soon as you see the property you like.

Where are you supposed to get the money from in the short term?!

Thanks!

Can your bf fund the deposit until you are able to pay him back?

No, he's just as broke as I am :(

I might ask one of my friends to lend it to me but it's embarrassing :(.

I wouldn't be embarrassed Essie. There's no meed to tell them about your BR, just tell them that you're waiting for the deposit from your current place to be returned.

Agree with Tracey, no shame in saying that you're a bit broke but the money will be you soon - I think we've all done that at some point.
