Hi Everyone,

I have finally managed to save enough for my bankrupcy fee and have all my paperwork ready and i now have my court date for 9th August. It's been very stressful and upsetting especially this last few months and although i know its not over yet and im so very nervous, i am kind of excited now that i have a date that soon there's gonna be no more calls or letters and i can start afresh.

I have my last 3 months payslips, bank statements, proof of housing benifit, rent agreement and my utility bills showing how much i pay.
I was under the impression that i took all these into court on the day, however when i made my appointment the clerk told me i didnt need them just my 3 copies of the forms.

So my questions are, when will the OR want these and will they want actual documents or are copies ok? And after the phone interview on same day as court, do i have an interveiw in person with the OR aswel? and if they decide they are going to give an IPA how long does it take for tem to make a decission?

I am single living on my own my income is low and supplemented with housing benifit, the majority of my working income is made up of overtime which isnt always available but at the moment it is and the last few months i have had to do more just to get the fee which keeps going up. Some months there is no overtime at all and i dont even have enough for my outgoings never mind a DI.
Will the OR take this into account?

Thank you for taking the time to read. Anna

The OR will take an average of your income, so you need to show them a period of wage slips that show a true average if your income fluctuates.

The OR will contact you shortly after the bankruptcy they will ask a few details and usually arange an interview, this is normally done over the phone but some people have a face to face interview, they will tell you what info and documents they want and will send an envelope to send them back in. They normally request oiginal docments but will return important documents like wage slips
