we are currently in a iva which is crippling us and having a effect on our marrige , we have negitive equilty in our house and are happy to be reprocessed as we hate the house due to bad neignbours etc so we would walk away happly no problem, anyway we want to turn the iva to bankrupcy and hand the house back and go and rent (we will hopefully be ok doing that due to having garentors and disposit etc) So my question is what is the best order to do all this in x

Hi Bridgette,

How long have you been in your IVA?

First of all have a word with your IP and see if the shortfall from the repossession can be included in your IVA as it may be possible to continue.

If not, and you want bankruptcy, then you will need to miss 3 months IVA payments and fail the IVA.

I suggest you get yourselves into rented accomodation before the bankruptcy.

I advise you speak to your IP or an expert on here.
