hello all, i'm in dire straights as with most on here but am trying to better myself by starting a business.
i got myself into debt and have arranged to pay my debts a pound a month but in 6 months they've put on a total of £600 in interest. over the course of a year i'm a further £1100 in debt so i'm cosidering going bankrupt.
my question is although im not trading as a business yet will they close the bank account and cancel the debit card even if there is £0 in it?

Hi Lucan,

They will close the account and it's quite difficult to get a business account whilst bankrupt.

You can have a personal account though, speak to the Co-op re there Cashminder account.
