ok first the IP has not bought the debt, they have been appointed as trustee,

Ignoring the question of the trust as that is vastly more complicated, and presuming for the sake of argument that he does hav e an interest in the property, then the trustee has until the 3 years date to make an application to court, if they dont by that date it would revest in in his name
