Hi, I have been in a trust deed for a year, paid in £1600. Got a call the other day saying it has defaulted as 3payments have been missed.. I tried to sort this but as my circumstances have now changed my trustee does not think I will be able to pay the payments for the remainder.
I am due to have a baby in January so my hours/pay have dropped alot and I will only be able to go back to work part time after baby is here.
I stay with my partner and our 6year old in his house but his name is the only one in the mortgage, bills etc..
As my trust deed has technically failed really I hav no option but to go bankrupt as there is no way I can afford to pay back my creditors.. But do not quite understand how it works or what happens.. As the house etc are not in my name I have no assets, because I stay here and I am in a relationship can they involve my partners things as I have already started getting him in debt by not keeping up contributions towards anything.
Please can someone help as I am really stressing out when really shudnt be with
carrying baby. Thankyou
