I know that you're supposed to be automatically discharged after one year, but...Why and how do I see on here some people who have been discharged earlier than that, and why does it take longer for others?
If gathering money-type-issues are nothing to do with me (and it drags on with the trustee with my ex) does this affect my discharge date?
The Official Receiver can at their discretion only (ie you cant request one) grant an earlier discharge.
A discharge can be suspended (ie last more than 1 year) in some circumstances, but this is only to do with conduct, ie if you are refusing to co-operate, Assets have nothing to do with discharge and sorting them out will just continue after the discharge if needs be
