Hi there I have just received a letter from the Insolvency Service saying that Mazars LLP have been appointed Trustees of my bankruptcy estate. I have no assets other than some Green Belt land of limited value, and my home is in negative equity. Why have they been appointed and should I contact them to get back the BI in my house? Also can someone from my family bid for the land - that was bought with money my father left me so has emotional rather than financial value? Or should I just wait for them to contact me? I was declard BR in August this year.
Why has trustee been appointed ?
