I was made bankrupt in 2007 and still cannot open a bank account. I have a good, steady job and dont owe any money anywhere. I would like to borrow £1000.00 to get a half decent car. No chance. Has anyne got any ideas?

Try the Co-op Cashminder for the bank account and maybe carloans4u or moneybarn for the car finance as they have been mentioned on our sister forum.
