IPA and commission. Hi, i am looking into IVAs and bankruptcy and wondered how the IPA payment works if I earn commission. In a month where I don't earn any commission I pretty much get by, but some months I earn much more.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm sorry but I don't know the answer to your question but hopefully one of the experts will pick it up shortly.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side.

The trustee will take an average over a suitable period of time and use that as your income for calculating the ipa. You will be expected to save in the good months to pay in the bad months
