Hi, Ive not been on here for quite some time but good to see a lot of the names that got me through some Terrible times. Anyway- I was declared B/R 3 yrs ago and discharged 6mths later. I have now today recieved a call from a company called RMA who wanted my details to 'go through security' even tho they called me. So I said not until I know why. They have advised they have taken on my debt from Egg!!! I advised the situation and I havent heard a peep from Egg in 3 yrs! They said they cant see me on the insolvency register so I am obliged to send them proof etc.
I have no issue really in co-operating if I need to .Just not sure if I send it to them, tell them they need to talk with Egg or why this has come up after 3yrs?????
Much the same as yourself, with time discharged from BR! I haven't had any phone calls but still get letters from Santander(who I believe took over egg) saying Im in arrears. When I call them to ask why they are still sending letters, they say they are obliged to send letters even thou they know I was made BR! I thought once your debt was Included in a file for BR they could not contact you under any circumstance !
