Is bankruptcy for me my story is that in dec 2006 i stared an iva with debts of 22k after about 2yrs i stopped paying my iva due to me having a major fall out with my family and having to leave home.

After living at a friends house for a yr i decided to try and get my own flat which i have now done now a further 16 months have passed and i have recenty got back in contact with my family and a pile of post my with one letter from my iva company saying that he has failed in october this yr which was not a surprise.

i have now got back in contact with my iva company to look at starting a new one as i have 100 surplus money each month but people are telling me that bankruptcy would be best but i really scared about doing this

any advice out there??

Hi Wayne and welcome to the forum.

Speak to your company tomorrow and see what they say but I think BR could be an option for you.

You can get advice and support on here and help with filling out the forms if you decide this is the way to go.

Don't be scared - we're here to help.

Hi wayniac & welcome from me too.

As Jan has said, have a chat with your IVA company & see what they say.
This is a great site with plenty of advice/support if you decide BR is the right direction for you.

Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.
