Hi,

How much debt do you have altogether?

Do you have any assets?

Hello there, I would strongly recommend that you make an appointment with your local Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)who can complete a full assessment of your situation and advise you on the best solution for you. Give your local CAB office a ring and ask for an appointment with their 'Money Adviser'

As you state that you are disabled the CAB will have access to funding advice and assistance to help you should the option be Bankruptcy/Debt Relief Order (Dependant on your debt level/situation re assets - debts below £15k and no assets would probable mean a debt relief order would be more suitable for you, if your debts are over £15k then bankruptcy may be the correct solution)

hope this helps, Melanie
