Can bailiffs take my car as levy against my wife's debts ?
My wife does not own anything everything is my name. She is the named driver on a car but Mark paid for it, he has shown proof to them that he owns the car but they have stated that as she has an interest in the car they can use it as levy against the debt. I have lodged a complaint. What else can i do ?

Hi Mark,

As far as I am aware then if the car is in your name, even though your wife is a named driver, the bailiffs cannot take the car.

Hopfully one of the experts can confirm.

Follow through

Don't give up the fight
You will be alright
'Cause there's no one like you in the universe
