| Does anyone know anything about these companies that will buy your house fast for cash and pay all legal fees etc.. seems too good to be true? |

Probably is Nina - there will be a catch somewhere.

Hi there - this is not an area that i can provide advice on, purely because I have no idea.
What I can provide advice on is the SARB - Sale and Rent Back, whereby you sell your home and remain as a tenant - This is now a regulated area, and provides you with security. In so much that you can sell your home (albeit not for full market value) and then remain in the property if you so wish - for a minimum time period of 5 years, paying a local value rent. You do not have to remain in the property, but if you decide to do so you have safegueards.

I was wondering if there is anyone that is well up on HMRC debt because my husband has an outstanding VAT bill and is being threatened with bankruptcy (which has been adjourned twice) the next hearing is 25th April, and basically we have had enough of trying to keep our heads above water, and think we will have to look at it as a fresh start. I am not sleeping very well at all at the moment! The question is my husband is still trading at the moment and when he asked his accountants about stopping being VAT registered because of this BR hanging over us, they said it wasn't that easy and you have to prove that you will not be earning a certain amount in the coming year to stop being VAT registered! So he is still continuing charging VAT on his invoices because like he said he wants to be able to earn as much as he can in the coming year even though he will be bankrupt! Is that right? Also I would have to go bankrupt as well wouldn't I because of the joint loans. Sorry to waffle on but we seem to be getting nowhere as nobody has a clue. CAB included!
