I went bankrupt in 2006, and thought all of my creditors had been paid, but I have been approached by a credit card company asking me for £2000.00. What can I do ?

If this was a debt incurred before your bankruptcy, then you need to inform them of your bankruptcy, they should then stop chasing you.

Hi Mike

This is very common.

Sending them a photocopy of your bankruptcy order is usually effective.
