My husband and I are currently about 30,000-35,000 in debt in the UK but are currently living in the Republic of Ireland. Can we still apply for bankruptcy in the UK?
How long have you been living there? Are you permanently living there now? If so, then no, you can not declare bankruptcy in the UK, you would need to do it there.
