Hi Louise,

How much do your debts add up to?

Bankruptcy could be an option, but you may qualify for the debt relief order if you meet certain criteria. There are other debt solutions too so please speak to an expert for advice.

Hi there
It would be really sensible for you to order a copy of your credit file, that way you would be armed with a full list of your creditors, what ever option you decide to chose, you will need to know that details of ALL your debts.

Are your debts below £15,000 if so it may well be that you consider the Debt Relief Order - the same as bankruptcy but for debts below £15k and has a lower fee (£90)as opposed to bankruptcy (£700)

As Viki states though, you really need to chat through your options with one of the experts, we can be found under the 'experts' tab on the left hand side, scroll down and make contact with one of us

Hope this help, Melanie
