I am considering declaring myself bankrupt. Currently in an IVA which is proving to be not the right decision!! All of my debt was from a previous address but the IVA was done at my present address which happens to be a family member. Just want to know if i go BR, how, if at all, this may affect them? Have heard of a letter of dis association?!
Also, i pay rent & contribute to all household bills but none of this is in writing. Will the OR require proof of this? If so, will a signed letter do the trick?

Your debt is unlikely to affect the person you are living with.

The OR will need to see evidence of the payments you are making for your rent and bills.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
