Hi there, I'd be extreemly grateful if you could explain to me why the Local Authority have classed my overpayment as fraudulent based only on my interview under caution? I have never been to court or given a penalty or admitted guilt. I eventually went bankrupt but the LA say it can't be included in the bankruptcy because it's classed as fraudulent on their system?

Hi Maddy,

It's right that it can't be included in bankruptcy, but I can't advise why they said it's fraudulant. I suggest you visit the CAB for help and guidance.
