I used to be a regular here and you all helped me loads,not been on for a couple of years,but wondered if you could help me again.I was made bankrupt 3 yrs ago,discharged 5 months later.I was on nil tax code for 6 months until April 2010 I have still not been contacted by anyone for this money,am I still likely to be asked for it .

This should have been paid across - have a word with the OR about it. Do you have an IPA that you are paying at the moment.

No had no ipa,not even sure who my or is was handed over to a city miles away and not heard from them since I got my discharge letter.

I think you do need to speak to them regarding the tax as it will have to be paid across.

Do you still have your paperwork? You could always contact the original OR and ask who is now looking after things now,

I'v kept the money in the bank surely tax office will get in touch with me when they want it,really don't want to try an get in touch with or again.I did receive a self assesment tax form off them 18months ago for my br year an I filled it in honestly but heard nothing as yet.

It's the OR that you need to pay the money too not HMRC. Give them a call and let us know how you get on.

You should be able to get your OR's details from the insolvency register.
