Is it best to go for bankrupty or salvage my IVA. I last made a payment in December as they gave me 6 months off when i came out of work. What would happen to my partners income if I was declared bankrupt ?
How long have you been in your IVA? Have you found another job?
Speak to your IP company initially to see what can be done.
Your partners income would be taken into account for your household expenses so that you are both paying your fair share but otherwise it wouldn't be affected.
Do you have any joint debts at all?
