I have a client who lives in Spain, but would be willing to come over and live in England. He has sizable debts to banks etc. How long would he have to live in England to be able to start bankruptcy proceedings? Does his debts have to be commercial, or can he also be a normal citizen Are proceedings in England valid against creditors in Spain? - I repeat, this is where he will be living in England for several months What are the costs involved, what is the procedure? Ask me any question you may think ok. Many thanks, Mark |

Hi Mark, does your client want to live and work in the UK permanently or just move here to declare bankruptcy?
