I am due to appear in court on Monday. I am on income based jobseekers allowance and need to know how much I will have to pay in court Monday.

Not sure whether or not this is one of the benefits where you can get a reduction.

If not then it will cost you £700, if it is then you will get a reduction of £145 I think?

Ascend may you find no resistance
Know that you made such a difference
All you leave behind will live to the end
The cycle of suffering goes on
But memories of you stay strong
Someday I too will fly and find you again

Hi Katy,

You will get a reduction of £175, so your court fee will be £525.

You will need to fill in form EX160A and take a job seekers confirmation letter with you dated within 30 days of when you go to court, you will also need to take the last 3 months bank statements.

Here is the link to the form:

Good luck for Monday.

Hi Katy,

I think the first question we need answering, is what are you in court for on Monday?
The previous answers pertain to filing for bankruptcy.
