Both me and my other half share everything bills wise and income. We are joint in whatever we earn. I earn 1,700 post tax and she earns 500 after tax per month. We are looking to go bankrupt. I pay virtually everything and her monthly 500 pays the rent. On her statement of affairs do I also put everything else she needs / pays per month even though is out of my income? which she is listed as a dependent.
At present I have put the below on both mine and my partners.
Rent 575 Housekeeping 324 Public Transport 65 Car Petrol 260 Hire Purchase Agreement 103 Heat & Light 100 Council Tax 97 Telephone / Mobile / Internet / Sky 73 Clothing and Footwear 47 Car Insurance 45 Meals at Work 36 House Maintenance 25 Sundries & Emergencies 23 Car Maintenance 22 Sports, Hobbies & Entertainment 22 Hairdressing 20 Water Rates 20 Dental & Optical 15 Car Road Tax 15 House & Contents Insurance 15 TV Licence 13 Medicines & Prescriptions 11 Laundry & Dry Cleaning 10 Newspapers & Magazines 5 Charity 2
I hope that makes sense. - Thanks |

If you are both going bankrupt the the easiest thing to do is to simply put both incomes on each form, one in the income bit and one in the partners contribution part. Also put all the expenditure on each set of forms. |

Hi,
Good list there and at least you have covered everything, although I doubt you will get the charity, newspapers and sports, entertainment items. I think you might be expected to take those from housekeeping. You can never tell what the OR will or will not allow, so it is best to try and then see what you end up with, as you have done. Just be aware that you probably won't get everything on your list.

Hi L555HUL,
Your list of expenditure seems to be based on the old CCCS guidelines exactly. Did you get given this by your DMP company?
I advise you put down exactly what you spend, don't go by the DMP company figures.
As xmas baby has said, some of your expenditure won't be allowed but you may spend more in other areas.
