I jointly own a house worth £125,000 with a first charge mortgage of £80,000, second charge £35000 and a second charge/ccj's totalling £15000 lodged against me. Will the house be reposssed if I declare myself bankrupt?

Hi Adrian.z,

Are you living in the property?

If you are living there, can you afford the mortgage and secured debts if you didn't have your unsecured debts to pay?

How much are you paying on the mortgage and secured debts per month?

If you don't want to post again, please contact an expert for advice.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Can you supply us with a few more details so that we may be able to give some more advice?

Alternatively, we have several experts that post on here and whose details can be found under the experts link on the left hand side of the page.

The advice is free.
